To Live is To Create

Media and music producer, freelance project manager, electric violinist and Head of Operations at Mental Health Media.

My musical progression has been from a classical violinist through to a world music and ambient DJ and then on to playing in bands and producing music. Highlights have included playing Glastonbury ’97 with Daweesh, releasing the CD The P4 Collection and a national tour with The Escapists. Other projects have included co-founding the sound system Sounds Anonymous and composing soundtracks for theatres such as The Half Moon Young People’s Theatre.

I have also worked in performance art and have collaborated with Silke Mansholt and Guy Bar Amotz in London and Brussels.

In the realm of film and digital media I produced the film Djembe Heaven, screened at the NFT, and was the subject of an Animated Minds short, broadcast on Channel 4. I am a recent recipient of an Artsadmin digital bursary which resulted in nutter.tv.

Recently I have been working as a project manager for Audio Addiction, The Jasmin Vardimon Dance Company and Creative Routes.
